Sketches Studio was created from a simple belief: every person has a unique story worth telling. Portrait photography is more than capturing beauty; it is about revealing character, preserving moments, and appreciating the people we encounter every day.

My name is Isaiah Tilton, and my journey has shaped the way I see others. As a person of both Mexican and American heritage who grew up navigating foster care and adoption, I've experienced firsthand how life's challenges can shape identity, resilience, and perspective. Those experiences led me to photography, where I discovered a passion for creating honest, meaningful portraits.

After earning my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Iowa State University, I set out to combine design, storytelling, and portrait photography into one vision. My goal is to create portraits that are thoughtful, authentic, and timeless while helping people see themselves with confidence. Through Sketches Studio, I hope to contribute a distinctive voice to portrait photography in the Midwest. One that values genuine human connection as much as alluring imagery.
